Hey folks, I have a surf with a 3.0 kt-ze that has a pretty significant fuel leak near the firewall. It's dripping down the transmission. It's my daily driver so I'm hesitant to tear into it until I know what I'm getting into and have parts ready to swap.

I'll try to snap a picture tomorrow but I was hoping someone might know where it could be coming from. The turbo is in the way so I can't see much. My guess would be the fuel return line but I can't locate it. Any advice is greatly welcomed.

I took apart the intake and replaced the Injectors, cleaned out the gunk in the manifold and put it back together. Unfortunately, when firing it back up, I still find a leak. It's coming from below injector #3, beneath the manifold. I can't see where exactly and obviously, once the manifold comes off, I can't run it to see where the fuel leak is from.

My only guess is that there is a steel vacuum line that forks, the lower fork did not have a hose or cap on it. So my suspicion is that is the problem. The EGR was deleted on this rig before I bought it and the original owner is not mechanically savvy so he can't help.

In the photo below, the blue arrow points to where the fork is just open, there isn't a line going to the actuator. I'm going to try and find a piece of tubing and connect the lower fork to the actuator below the EGR. It's possible it came off while driving. But if anyone can identify the issue (if this is not the problem) then I'd greatly appreciate it.
