90s front drive shaft

do any know if a 1994 toyota pickup front drive shaft is long than a 1979? or has more travel

Probably shorter, the 94 IFS restrains the driveshaft in place. Short of chassis flex that driveshaft is not capable of the misalignment you see with leaf spring axles.

I don't think that they would have the same bolt pattern.

i know the patter is different . but i have a swaped in 5spd and not the orginal 4spd. is my tcase is farther back ,i would think

or do i spend 80 on a spacer. i found a used drive shaft for 40 but it out of a 90s truck
