Thanks guys I will be posting pics when all the parts get here.

Jason I checked and found that my body will require a lot of modification to install the belts so I decided to stick with the lap belts but I may call u about some other things.

If your c-piller has a threaded bolt this isn't a hard job to create the lower mounting points. I just did and can shoot you photos if you want.

My 62 drives very well for what it is, it has great breaks and a wider stance as opposed to a typical 60/62. When i built this truck I considered putting it on an 80 chasis but decided to retain the 62 frame. Since i have been driving it alot i would like to have radius arm coil over on the front. I know that several folks have just taken an entire 80 front end and placed it under the chasis. Cam did a great job on his truck. the reason i am not going that route is i like running 3:73 gears. I am going to take a set of 80 radius arms and make a set of rear brackets that will use the rear spring mount as a alignment, make a bracket for the track bar and tower for the coil over. Since the 40 and 60 frame are very similar i was just checking the pulse to see if i did this in a kit form would anyone be interested. The goal is to make it bolt on with the exception of the two brackets required on the axle housing itself.

On another note my partner on the van business just launched a new website expovans.com you all should check it out.

Interested!

I had a little time today to button up a couple of loose ends. Cruise is working great. Made a hinged bracket for emissions that double as the holder for my components for the duel battery set up.

I will post in classifieds later but i am going to start cleaning out the shop, i have a complete 3fe that needs to go, another 3fe with the parts required to make a 2fe, extra seats and other things. pm me if you know of someone in need of a motor.

Surprised to hear you're selling it. On to the next project, eh?

Was hoping you'd come up with some brackets for mounting up 80 suspension on a 60 frame. Somebody really ought to. I'm sure there's a demand out there.

GL with sale.

Cheers!

i have not abandon the idea, i have a extra 62 frame and a complete 80 front end in the shop ready to be mated up. just don't have the time right now.

After i had it detail, it really showed how stained the seats were. While i like the cloth better, i installed a leather kit and i think it looks alot better.

i had a great time over the weekend at the relic run in NC. The only bad part was that we had to leave early Saturday. Here are some photos from the event.
