Nice Fj62, wife is wanting one and yours is perfect. The only thing right now is we're trying to sell a couple of our vehicles. So would like to trade for one of them? We have a 2003 VW Jetta TDI 5spd wagon and a 2005 Nissan Frontier CrewCab 4wd auto SE. Let me know something. Thanks

Steven

Steven,

Not really interested in trades, trying to make some more room in the garage. However, tell me more about the Jetta, I have a friend who would probably be interested in it.

Brian - thanks for the emails. I'll be back in touch soon. This week will be busy due to Thanksgiving but I will email after this week. Jim

email sent via CL listing...

If it is still available could you post some pictures (or PM me) of the undercarriage and under hood? I'm just over in G'ville so I might also want to come take a look at it.

Brian, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

I can see most of the frame rails in the pic above but a pic of the rear cross member, trans case, exhaust and bottom of the block would be good. Are those old Chevy Blazer seats up front? They look just like the one's from a 80's Blazer.

What would be the top two things to do if you were keeping the LC?

Matt

Brian,

I forgot to ask if that is the Dakar suspention from ARB/OME?

Matt,

Working on getting photos, my sister borrowed my camera to go out of town, and I am headed out tomorrow early morning, so it may be Sunday before I get to it. Sorry for the delay. I originally bought it as I wanted to put a diesel in it, but, it just didn't make sense with the engine being redone before I bought it. I also was thinking about putting an upgraded factory interior in it, such as one of the leather kits that can be found on here with a lot of Dynamat to help make it feel more modern.

Brian

Matt,

I am not sure how to tell if it is the Dakar suspension, it was installed before I bought the truck. It is OME, but, not 100% how to tell if it is the Dakar.

Brian

No problem Brian, I've been pretty swamped myself.

I'm not sure how to tell either, but the Dakar suspention does involve the springs in addition to the shocks as for as I can tell from the ARB catalog. How much lift would you say it has-I'm guess about 2-3 inches by the stance.

The previous owner mentioned they were part of the whole kit from OME, which included the shocks and springs. Not sure how I can tell from looking at them, but I will check when I get home. It does appear to be a 2-3 inch lift, which is what I have noticed with the OME kits.

Is the 7k firm? I sold my F250 but I haven't found a buyer for my 05 Frontier yet. Are there any issues at all? How would this be as a daily driver? What are you getting for fuel mileage? Thanks

Steven

Pretty firm on the price. The only issues that I know of are the oil pressure gauge doesn't work and the A/C doesn't seem to be as cold as it was this summer. I would use it as a daily driver. As far as mileage, I have never checked it, but I assume it is in the low teens.
