How are the roof lights wired up/would it be easy to reverse if I took off the roof rack?

EDIT: Also meant to ask about the motor work, ~7k on the rebuild per the odometer, right? Did you do the work or a shop?

roof lights are wired up through upper part of tailgate door, no modifications to disconnect them.

motor was rebuilt by previous owner, who bought the truck after the original owner seized the engine. he replaced he block and rebuilt the top end. the truck has 208k on it now.
