For Sale 88 FJ62 in Houston 267K miles

1988 FJ62 with about 267,000 miles. Looking to get $7000. Houston, Texas

Pros

Rust free
Straight
Engine runs great
Has AC that blows well, just not cold at the moment
Garage parked for most of the time

Cons

Transmission is shot
Has some oil leaks
One crack in the dash
Driver's seat has the normal wear and tear as most this age
Wayback carpet is stained from a minor spill of household cleaner

The vehicle is at the shop right now. Quoted 3300 for a rebuild of the transmission. I have added a few pics taken a few months ago. It cleans up and looks really nice. I have the original bumper.
I can get more photos on request. It is at the shop now and they are closed.

It was repainted a few years ago.

Fuller disclosure: The roof began to rust in the gutter on the driver side. I replaced the roof before the rust turned into inoperable cancer. As part of this operation, i had the roof interior replaced and had the vehicle repainted. In the process i had some minor dings repaired or filled or whatever process was most appropriate. The work was done at Cruz Motors, right next to Javier's on Clay. Javier has done most of the repair work on this vehicle over the last 15 or so years. He always called it the "cream puff".

There is no rust in the body or frame. Nothing was covered up with bondo.
