I currently have the OME 2” setup, but after running in the Mexican 1000, I need new shocks.
While down there it was recommended that I get the 5100’s in the front and 5160 series in the rear. (The local 4wd store said they didn’t have anything that would fit my rig)
I usually run with a storage/sleep system in the rear so there is the added weight to consider.
I do plan on entering the race again and putting it through the paces again all the while using it as a weekend driver.
Any help with part numbers/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Check with Kurt @cruiseroutfit aka http://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/ these guys are very experienced with OME and suspension parts and can get you the right shocks. The lower pin that the rear shock mounts to has 2 different sizes and you need the right sized bushings.

I’ve run those same dirt roads numerous times over the decades (but not during the race).
My recommendation is add spacers to the bump stops otherwise breaking shock mounts almost becomes a certainty. You need the axles to slam on the bump stops before the shock bottoms out - otherwise shock anchor carnage ensues.
The most fragile parts are the rear shock upper cross tube studs. I broke mine decades ago on those same roads.
