Hi all! haven't been on this forum in a while. Used to own a 80 Series from 2006 to about 2020, Favorite rig by far but got an unexpected CRAZY cash offer i let her go. I've been dabbling on getting another trail rig since. Finally something came along i could not pass up.

The short version is a long time employee of our company had this 84 pickup since 86 i believe, he started working for my father before i was born, this was his first truck! and he's owned it since. its been sitting on the side of his house since the 90's... in 2023 he dumped about 5k into it and got it running. everything from radiator, hoses. brakes, bushings, fluids, lines full tune up, wheels & tires ect... then it sat again. A few weeks ago he offered it to me randomly as its just sitting. I ended up getting it for insanely cheap, deal of a lifetime type deal. lets just say the tires on it are worth more than double of what i paid. ;)

I got her home and started going through it.. washed off years of dust and dirt. made a list of cosmetic parts and put them on order:
- Seat Cover
- Flintstone fab ABS door panels
- Side vents
- Misc. badging
- Rear taillights
And a few other things...

Then i started looking into suspension. I kept ending up on the AllPro site and looking the Extreme Kit. I liked it because it was fairly complete and somewhat bolt on, I had in the cart and almost clicked checkout, But then i had a thought of posting on my IG page to see if any buddies maybe had a hookup at TG or All Pro so i did, RANDOMLY! a friend of a friend
me and said he had a OG all pro kit that he purchased about 10 years ago, he purchased two! and the one he bought for friend was never used. Its the entire Kit + the upgraded steering box and slip yoke extension kits. I ended up purchasing it from him and saved about 1000 bucks!

I have some friend's at race line wheels, i was able to order some Nomad convoy wheels for it at a great price. They are on the way and ill probably order some 35" BFG's next week.

The yota is already at my friend's fab shop and under the knife! @ADFAB on IG.. Currently all of the old suspension has been removed getting ready for new.

Excited to get this thing going! ill keep the thread updated as it progresses.
