hi I have an 84 fj60 and I have gutted the factory d train out and have a set of chevy axles under it now and about to start rebuilding a sbc to mate to a sm465 and 205 t case, anybody done a comlete d train swap in the 60 and if so any suggestions as to save time and money not making major screw ups

Don't use a 10/12 bolt or a D44 ;)

what motor are you building? Are you planning on it being smog legal?

I am in Greenville MO, no it isnt gonng to be smog legal, not sure if its going to sreet legal again any time soon. the engine well, not sure yet run the numbers on it and it came back with three possabilities the year is 67' 305, 327, or 350. I've not got that far yet just got it setting on the chev axles the other day, also for what its worth I done a shackle rev on the front not sure if I like it or not yet, just heavily tacked it and we'll see. I still have the engine and bellhousing, and the axles out of it and would like to sell or trade for something cool maybe. the tranny and t case are already gone. also have lots of other stuff from the stock stuff that got pulled with everythingelse.

I know I already posted this

I posted this at a wierd time of day and did't get much response, just wondering if any body done this and had any pointers. Thanks.

Lots of guys do Chevy swaps ... 10 bolts arnt worth the work but D60 and 14bolts are great swaps

What axles are you usein

I think the rear is a 12 bolt and the front not sure, they are just what I have on hand and will be replaced when able the main thing is getting the engine I have rebuilt and the truck drivable
