Sorry for your loss.

Oil is murky and coolant went down again. It's the head gasket.

I guess the only good news is that I just rolled it out of the garage and never drove it. Head probably wasn't torqued down properly and I need to change that, flush/replace the fluids again, and pray for another miracle.
Damn that is some s***ty luck brother. I'll send some your way! And I'm sure it's been a few months but congrats on baby #3! I'm sure your family will appreciate you doing all this for safety and reliability (not at all for personal reasons ;) )

It’s been a few months and she’s running “right” for a change. The V6 stays until I come across the right V8 opportunity or the 6 takes a dump again.

She’s all painted and awaiting my front Trail Gear bull bar/stinger. She’s come a long way since my father in law had it 14 years ago.

Also going to get rid of that purple tint and re-tint.

Today, I’m bringing the black trim back to life that wasn’t painted. (Side steps, and the dreaded window trim)

Raw steel Trail Gear tubular bull/winch bar came in today. Shot it with some hammered textured rust proofing paint.

Fitment was spot on and quality is awesome.

This may well be the first non-OEM bumper I like. Looks crazy aggressive! Any cutting or welding involved?

Thanks for sharing.

No cutting or welding whatsoever. Perhaps the hardest thing was removing the OEM bumper.

Once I removed it plus the tow hooks, this slid right on and held in place with two heavy duty bolts each both top and bottom.
