$8000 to spend on a 60....what would you do?

I second that, or third that, whichever it is.
I just quit my job after saving a nice chunk. Unless you are born rich (and they never appreciate it anyway) there are very few times in life when you will have time, money, and youth. For many people it's never. I've got all three right now and I could not possibly be happier. I'm taking my savings and freedom and doing a S. America trip. You could always take that money and come along, a Land Cruiser convoy...

Amen to that! Thank goodness I did the rambles while I was young! Kinda still am really...rode my bmw gs to Patagonia three years ago on a whim. Climbed in Alaska, Argentina, and Tibet. Skied the Haute Route and many others.
Now I've got a house, am married, and have dogs...but Im not dead yet! Still in the 20's and kickin' hard!

hey.

if you haven't been lured into buying an 80 or going to school yet, this is what i think you should do:

get 3" SUA lift, 33" wheels, 5 speed and most importantly swap to DIESEL! go for a 6 cylinder ..mine does 28mpg..
35" wheels and up are no good ... i mean it looks good.. but for good handling i would say 33"s is the limit..
