Let me know how that goes Chris, as I may be in the same boat over here.

You know I'll have pics. No lift, no BMC, no rub thread forthcoming. Hahaha.

Shocks are here. I like yellow less than I like blue.

Only running these until Radflo's can build. You interested in, Rob?

If I can't drive this home, going to cost me an extra hundred I just bet, and a tow bill.

Wheels turned out good. Black, which I could've done at home, but oh well.

Could only fit 4 tires in FJC, so headed back for the fifth. Hahaha

The superflex arms say for Offroad use only because they are illegal here in aus to use on the road. But no one cares. They are just as stable as normal arms, 70mph is fine. I had mine on for 2 years and couldnt tell the difference onroad. But could tell offroad. That's what they where designed to do. :)

Absolutely, need something while I save up for a King setup.

I may have missed it, did you have the wheels painted or pc'd?

Cool. I'll put your name on.

Painted. Long story, but wanted to rehabilitate to OEMish look, but after blasting, determined the pitting wouldn't allow for a decent finish. Guy suggested a flat black. They look pretty good, and not faulting him because I saw his other work, but I might have explored a used set in good shape, had I known.

Pics shortly. Stopped to rip the front bumper off. I wouldn't advise running 345/75/16s without a lift, but it's, surprisingly, not as bad as I thought....until a turn.

Excellent! I was debating on taking the wheels to a pc'er, but not sure it's worth it once I get it in the rocks. Looking forward to the pics.

The upper portion will remain white.

Welding the holes in the body didn't provide a fit enough finish to justify a high dollar paint job. Would do white liner, but it's been suggested against for the sides, so considering matching liner to the interior tan, and following the upper body line. Lining the roof just enough to cover the holes welded from the roof rack, then refreshing/repainting white on the upper half.

Like this, but white and tan.

The seats and rest of the tan leather is going to brown, but I'm not sure if brown to match, would look good on the lower half. Thoughts?

Don't see how I'll get by without cutting fenders.

My bumpstops are set to stop the tire rubber on the roof of the wheel well. With that size tire you won't get anymore tuck. The 4" coil will have more compression left in it though. That's why I recommended a coil spacer to allow as much downward coil force to the dropping wheel. Which is where you need it and not to waste the coils energy. But you will only need to trim the back bit in my pic.

The other thing is your already using up the shocks full stroke anyway. Unless you modify shock position. There is no more usable travel to gain.

Kind of my concern was usable shock travel. Not opposed to modifying the front upper mount, IF there's a remarkable gain.

Hope to have the energy tomorrow. It's 118 degrees in my garage, right now.

If your going to line the lower portion tan, why not line it all?

Since door jambs are white, figured I'd need to leave some white.

Way I understand the white liner is it has to topcoat because it turns an odd, inconsistent color (otherwise I'd be shooting the bottom white). Topcoat is essentially painting, so back to square one.

At least that's the input from the liner guy. Using the one on Mingo between 51st and 61st on west side. They've done work for another mudder and it all has looked good.

Thoughts?

If you're out and about later or tomorrow, give me a shout, if interested in seeing what rolling ridiculousness looks like. The pics don't do it justice, then I'll have a witness that it only rubs a little bit. Hahaha.

The rear will easily use it all up. A stock front end- no way. Superflex arms - yes it will but... The new bushes have to losen up a bit. So travel gets better and better. Flipped and modified - yet to max the front out even with no shocks. 16" would be close but I settled for 14" as they where in stock.
