Yeah I am sure it's the s***ty photos. You can see the setup to perge with inert gas and the guy is pretty much a tig artist. I will take better pics when I actually get it in my hands.

Maybe it's just the picture quality on my phone, but I don't really like the color around those welds.

Haha no, like a completely different platform.

I am either going to go with the new Haltech or I have been kicking around Motec but they are just so over priced. I think it will be the new Haltech stuff that I end up with.

into your current LX?

You might have covered this, but what are you planning for an ECU?

Well I already have 20's for it, since there is not a single 18" performance tire around a 30" diameter. There is a Pirelli P Zero in a 285/45 18, but they are $550each and that is an inch shorter and narrower than the 295's I will run.

I am not going to lower it too far, only one winding on the coil the way these coils are setup you can't do anything less than 1 winding or it wouldn't sit in the bucket.

I can't really do big torsion bars as I am not going to redo the entire front suspension to do IFS. I am going to do stiffer rollbars I have been waiting on them for over 6 months. Wide body would be cool but I have neither the talent or money to have someone develop it so it actually looks good. lol.

Personally I would keep the black one a driver that you can crank the boost up on at will and do 18s instead of 16s and keep the tire size the stock diameter. Maybe lower it a inch or 2 from stock with some big torsion bars. I wouldn't lower it way down like your planning or from what I interpret your planning. Going widebody with it would be wicked cool and fun.

I suppose you could do that, but I have already bought and paid for the Whiteline swaybar. It's just a matter of getting them to send the damn thing. Lol

Just a thought [emoji848]
What if you doubled the stock torsion bars at the rear. Thus install an additional one with the stock.

Ok not quite done last night but so damn close! Just finishing up the wastegate flange.

Dont suppose he kept some specs so he could repeat that manifold? many of us thinking on turbo and the fist hurdle is a decent manifold

Pic #1 looks like The Kraken! Geez...you don't mess around! :)

You going to wrap a blanket around that snail?

Think I will have the manifold and hot side of the turbo coated by swaintech with their thick ceramic coating. Unsure on if I will use a turbo blanket or not, I have one on my current turbo but this one is going to be a lot more center stage. Lol

You going to wrap a blanket around that snail?

I have a couple of questions.

How much boost are you going to be running with this set up?

How was the cams chosen for your set up? Was it chose for all out on the high end or more for torque on the low end?

Did you ever figure out the transmission you will be using? I think a 4l80e from Jake performance would hold this monster but me personally I always wanted to shift gears.

Probably around 14-15psi on pump 93, 22-25 on E85 and balls out maybe 30+ on E98.

The cam was chosen for big lift, high duration valve opening and to balance the exhaust and intake flow. Since the intake valves are +3 and exhaust are +1. It should allow more power up top since I plan to also spin it much past the stock redline.

I think ultimately the transmission is going to be a Quaife sequential 6 speed with built in single speed transfer case.

wholly crap, you going to be paddle shifting that Quaife?!!! I cringe on just thinking about the cost of those mothers!

It sounds crazy when you say it like that.

but if you add up, a rear dual swing out bumper, a front bumper, a winch, sliders, a roof rack, a tent, and a belly skid, it's about the same. Lol.

Last time I checked it was about $15k all told.
