Woohoo! Got my tracking information this morning! Im like a kid tracking Santa Clause! Looking forward to receiving the new bumper! :D

cool! bumper was delivered to my friends shop, and he delivered it this morning to my house! he, being an 80 owner too- was just as excited as me to see the fabrication that hid in the very well packed box. all I can say is, "Wow! that is one well built and well thought out bumper packed in a box that looked like it was built by a professional carpenter."

I spent the evening removing the old stuff from the cruiser, and going to spend the morning installing the new work of art bumper! will post photos!

PM'ed you

My bumper is HERE! Thanks Sean! Thing thing is a beauty. Mine will be bare steel. Gonna polish it up and clear coat when I get the chance. Still have a few pieces to button up but it's mostly done. Time to order a new rim and get a spare tire!

PICS!

The monster crate you get from Sean, picked up at a local freight terminal

Jose, where did you source your rear turns from?

The taillights? Those are from ebay seller 'neondials'...

Thats what I thought but wanted to be sure mine looked the same as yours do, love that look.

anybody come up with any ideas for locking jerry cans down to basket?

once you put this bumper on, can you put everything back to stock? just wondering after going to the dealer and received an estimate for over $6000! for all the repairs that need to be made.

if you cut the rear cross member close enough- I am sure it could be welded back into place if you decided to return it to stock form... but, why? Seans bumper rocks!

Thanks Thad I am glad too see you are happy with the bumper. And have been and am trying to figure out a way to make a holddown and locking system for the jerry cans and will post some pics when I finally get it figured out.

Cutting out the crossmember is pretty permanent alteration to the truck, and can not be just bolted back in with ease. The crossmember could be welded back in possibly if it was cut out extremely clean, but if going back to stock i think it would be a easier to have a custom crossmember built with some tabs that the stock system can bolt into. I do not recommend my bumper for your truck if you think you might want to put the stock stuff back on some day without a major headache.
