Ditto. You'll still be facing traffic if you get a flat on the driver side of the vehicle.

I dont think it matters to this guy if his spare carrier is in the trunk, driver's side, or passenger side. Shoulder is similar to what we have here in the States.


If youre plunking down close to $2,000, you can put your spare tire anywhere you want. Thats what I did.

Sean, your bumper is looking great! Nice job on the refinements. Almost makes me want to trade mine in for an upgrade. Do you take trade-ins? Still not a fan of the expanded metal or diamond plate, but I'm being nitpicky.

Sean, shipping is probably to much because of size and weight but I was wondering if I could buy some of the lighter parts and just build the main bumper and some of the other stuff that is easy to build.

I better check the size of that tire tomorrow before I answer. It was the spare under the truck and I've never used it since I bought the truck. The hi-lift is a 48" so that might give you some perspective too.

A lot. It hold 3 cans, so 35 lbs more than the answer.
