The thought for the bent portion is first and foremost protection for the steering stabilizer. Not sure if its clear or not but the bent portion is past the cooler, holes would serve no purpose there.

Who knows, maybe at highway speeds it will push air under the axle and not thru it.

After studying the pictures and then looking at my truck I see your point. On the hwy that may even improve cooling. On the trail where it's really going to be heating up I don't know if it will help or hurt. The cut out logo may actually be helping with cooling so if the logo goes I'd consider dimple holes in its place.
On my truck it wouldn't matter. PO actually put a transmission style cooler and moved it up to the grill.

Minus the logo and I'll take one ! a few dimpled holes or louvres might be helpf ul be agree it's no critical given the palcement.

If it was rotated 180 degrees the bent portion would actually channel air up to the cooler:p. I never considered the need for highway road debris protection, so maybe good for that. I just rechecked my truck and can't figure how something would get past my ARB and still be able to cause damage, again maybe something tumbling violently unpredictably down the highway:meh:.

I agree with others ditch the logo. People don't want their truck's to be rolling billboard for others. If you want to give me the part for free then that is different. If someone paying for it, paying to ship it, paying to paint it and paying the taxes on it then they should not have to run some huge logo.

Yes, I'm not partial to logos being on everything either. Between bumpers, sliders, etc our trucks end up "branded". Ditching the logo for rectangular ventilation holes.

We are making two plates. One for stock bumpers and an extension plate to be used with the ARB bumper. If you have an ARB bumper you'll need both pieces. This means if you buy the skid plate prior to the ARB you can still use it for the future, just get the extension plate at a later date. WIN/ WIN.

The goal is to keep this pretty affordable, as affordable as powder coating, 3/16 steel and hardware can be. I think a discount will be provided for buying both pieces at once.

Sounds like a solid plan...and will save the time of me doing the cardboard drafting...awaiting pricing.

2ND ROUND WITH ARB EXTENSION. The tabs attach to the front of the skid ext. to the ARB, no drilling required.

INSTALLED, SKID PLATE AND ARB BUMPER EXT PLATE.

A piece of 4x4x1/2 Angle Accomplish the same and be stronger? If not strong enough add some guessets on end and 2 in middle. I think it would shear bolts before bending. This design is nice, but I don't show off my underside....much

Definitely in for one. I've got a non-winch ARB and planning on sticking an intercooler up in there somehow. Have you guys established a price yet?
