80 series owners need your help just a measuremenr (1 Viewer)

Hey I need a measurement off a 1993^ up big braked 80 series.


from the front axle I need the distance the front axle shaft will go into the axle housing/ drive flange, once the circlip is removed. a picture and a measurment would be beautiful

I don't have a picture, so memory is all I can go by. I believe my 93 170,000 mile cruise when I remove the clip the clip groove would just disappear into the flange. I have since changed to the later style which has approx. an 1/8th longer spline.

So your saying that if the circlip groove just goes inside the drive flange thats what yours did. I'm sure kicking myself for not taking this measurement before I started this, woulda taken 10 seconds.
