If all goes as planned, I will be servicing the rig and installing the Slee skid plate.
Next up is installing new radius arms and a 4" lift to fit 35".
I still need to research what shocks to run.

Going to be a busy weekend.

New SLEE Rear Panhard installed and adjusted.

Done and standing on it's own again.

Total time to install the rear springs was about 1 1/2 hours.

Now I need to research the latest info on Shocks. The Rancho RS9000 are not long enough.

Yes, I did Gain 8" on the rear bumper.

I guess the 2 1/2" OME were just compressed out. I carry a lot of weight so I guess I took the tension out of them.

Time to install a new cup holder.

I started with a Tuffy Console that was too wide for my FJ4X rigs.

I knotched the front so it fit over the floor brace.

I made a simple brace for the rear and bolted it in.

Now I have to decide which cup holder to use.

Lol

Is that a stain on the carpet? Need to clean that spot:hillbilly:

So, you don't plan on letting my kids ride with you?

It's been fun watching you shape this one up to your liking.

The air tank does not effect the passenger legroom at all. I don't have 2 legged kids and I don't pick up hitch hikers. If your kids rode with me I would strap them in with a 5 way harness. Lol

Dan you 80 is coming along nicely! Really digging that center console.

I put the Slee Offroad Skid plate on a week ago. I noticed a rubbing sound after everything got to operating temperature. I remounted the skid plate thinking maybe I had not mounted the transmission correctly. The noise continued.

I knew there could be nothing wrong with the skid plate. Slee has sold hundreds of them.

While I was upgrading from the Rancho RS9000 shocks to the OME "L" series, I took little extra time and found the problem. The muffler shop snapped the bolts off on the rear muffler mount. They used a spacer/rubber isolator that was 3/8" shorter than the factory one.

I installed one the same length as the factory one. I marked the driveshaft flange with red marking paint to make sure it does not rub anymore.
