Everything cleaned, the housing is notched for the new gear ratio. Marlin Crawler HD Seals installed and gasket set is next.

Found a nice groove in the spindle.

Having a bit of a clearance issue with getting the clips installed. If the clips were 1/2 the thickness of the OEM ones they may fit.

It seems like the axles are not going in far enough.

Pulled the cross pin and got the driver side in. D'oh!

The passenger side is nowhere near fitting. The blue looking ring is the end of the axle.

It acts like the pinion shaft spacer is too wide.

The center pin and block need to be out before you install the c-clips!

I feel as though I'm winning this battle.

I ended up using dental picks to get the C clip in the axle. The center section is non-removable unless the ring gear is removed. I was able to move it out of the way enough to get it the clip in. A few taps with a hammer and the center section went back in.

ARB really needs to rethink the head size of the bolt holding the cross shaft in. PITA!

Time for fluid and then some work on the smashed e-brake pivot.

Modified the rear swing out bumper so it carries a 35" and two fuel cans.

Looking more and more like a CottonLandCruiser Rig. Lol
