Leaked secret, he is making a very small batch.....one already has my name on it so you better hurry and put yours on one. Think he is making less than 10 so VERY limited quantity.

Was just on your site and seenjoy the low profile key available in march. Since I ordered both the fem and mini together they will be keyed the same correct? Does that come with two keyed keys? Wondering if I order the low profile now if you will be able to pull the key code on your end for my order and ship the key out when available? Can't wait to see all your gear btw. Thanks in advance.

Anything with a lock comes with two standard keys. Anytime you order anything with a key the code gets stored in my database and the code tag goes to you. Anytime a second, third, fourth, etc. keyed item is ordered I try to cross reference previous orders and then have them keyed alike. I do this because I've made the assumption that the vast majority will want keyed alike vs keyed differently.

Because I have to store your keycode, as required by Medeco, I can then make duplicate keys as needed and typically the same day. So anytime low profile keys are ordered I simple pull the keycode and have them cut before I ship out.

Toyofan- is this for the LC or the LX? I have the Scout in my LC, although maybe a moot point because it looks like they are no longer available. Let me know if you want a pic installed in the LC.

Scout is for the LC.

I could run the Scout LockBoxes again BUT I need to complete the LX ones first and I need to get further along in the 100 Series. On top of that I would need to be sure I had enough pre-sold to cover the production cost. All the stuff I have going on is bleeding me dry :(

Here are the pics of the Scout Box in my '97, with and without the concealment liner. The Scout Box is nice. For the firearm aficionados, I was happy to discover it will fit a 5" 1911, a G34, or even a 4" K-frame (sans holster). As I told Joey, if it fits in the USPSA "box" it will probably fit in here.

Love the fit and the look with the liner. Wish I had a bigger console now.

In the other hand, I kinda like on this design that there is a usable space there between the box lid and console lid

Yeah if you read the thread from the beginning I go into detail about the various heights and where it started and why it changed. At the end of the day its supposed to be able to look concealed. Having it go all the way makes it 100% obvious what it is and, as you pointed out, it eliminates ANY usable space above the box. I also have the APU-1 console organizer that need some room as well, for those that have installed it.
 
I too would like to purchase the Scout for the Cruiser. Add me to the list please.

Thanks for the response, it makes sense... My hope is that a Glock 23 (mid size) will fit vertically. I think it should but I need to measure it to verify
