I'm so psyched that after this run for LX450s, you'll be making them for FJ62s that I cant even answer...

perhpas I missed this at some point, but I see that there is a combo lock option. Any more info on that ? or pictures ? It looks like there is some space compromissed due to the size of the lock

I'm here at Medeco picking up my latest order. I found these in their display case and I'm looking into them now. I can't tell you how much I hate the Chinese one I found on Amazon. But I guess price is everything.

That looks nice @NLXTACY ! I'll be more than happy to compromise some space due to the shape of it, and be willing to pay a little more for the keyless option... combinations are always in my head, keys get lost and little kids always find them !

Yes. That looks like a nice option if it can be fitted like their normal keyed locks.

Ok folks, I was just going through my last batch of orders and I now only have THREE of the Scout (tall) LockBoxes left!!!

Plenty of the Mini ;)

3) It needs to be secure enough, & large enough, to fit a compact size Glock but strong enough someone can't get in it while I'm in a restaurant eating dinner.

Just curious.........

Why does one require a "compact sized Glock" to be locked in a box?

Your glock is locked in a box that is in a container that requires opening.
I'm guessing the key to the locked box is on the ring that your car key is on....or a different ring either in your pocket or hidden somewhere else in the vehicle.
Give me a scenario in which you need fast access to this Glock, but also allows you time to get the key, open the container, unlock the lock, open the lid and lift out the Glock.....all before time runs out.

Cheers!!

Because in Texas you can't take a firearm into a school, government building where court is being held, a restaurant that has more than 51% of their sales is alcohol, etc. Soooooo if I have to go into one of these location while I have my gun on me, it'd be nice to be able lock it up.

I'll buy that.

I'm not looking to get in a debate about guns, but I am curious and have a real question....

Being as how I'm in CA and someone walking down the street packing legal heat is a rarity......
How many times in, let's say, the last year did you read about or hear of someone in Texas who was legally carrying his/her pistol actually use one in self defense somewhere between walking out of their home in the morning and returning later in the evening?

Just curious....

Cheers!!!

Dunno but I did hear of someone who was open carrying that was help up...to steal his gun. Only in FL...er I mean Texas. :flipoff2:

Join the NRA and get the American Rifleman magazine. They publish the "armed citizen". It is a collection of stories usually ignored by the biased national media where legal gun carrying adults (aka citizens) defend their life or property using the second amendment.

The only recent pro gun story from Texas that I think made the national headlines was the one where an armed individual defeated two radicalized Muslims about to shoot up the draw muhumad cartoon contest. I am still unclear if he was an actual security person for the event or an attendee. Either way he acted like a boss in taking down a couple scum with a semiauto rifle by quickly assessing the situation and aggressively closing the gap using only his handgun.

The anti-gun story about the fem-nazis carrying around sex toys in protest of fellow students now being able to defend themselves on campus at UT Austin got way more national coverage. I thought the vibrator thing was kind of ironic as I imagine a bit of fishy smell on campus that day when in fact the students will no longer be as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

The only other texas conceal carry story I can think of right now is a few years dated. Ex gov Rick perry claims to have defending himself and dog while out on a jog by shooting an attacking coyote.

Open carry has only been allowed here for 8 days. It started Jan. 1st of this year and that hasn't happened. Keep your Comifornia lies over there with all the libtards!:flipoff2:

That did happen. He used a Ruger LCP and Ruger even made a limited edition commemorating it!
Sturm, Ruger Coyote Special LCP .380 Celebrates Texas Governor Perry's Marksmanship - The Truth About Guns

Kudos to gov perry. That was also some good shooting. Packing the LCP was a breeze but I dumped it almost immediately after test firing the M&P shield. A little bigger but worth the trade off for any one of its numerous better qualities: sights, trigger, or punch 9mm/40 cal vs .380 punch.

Rick Perry, one of the reasons I couldn't get out of Texas quick enough. What a mental midget!

F$&# Texas!

For the record.....
I support the use of sex toys.....
I voted for Obama, twice.....
I support Bernie Sanders now....
Yet, I can still have a civilized discussion with people with different views or opinions.

Cheers!!
