@2000UZJ, lets trade. I'll send you as many sets of these as you want,

And you send me a 21" bar. Sound fair?

Cool! Can I trade macrame for a light bar too?

I already have a set of HID spot fog lights mounted on my the bottom tabs of my 80 series ARB bumper. Has anybody thought about mounting an led bar (maybe 21") on the top set of tabs?? Am I crazy for thinking this would be a good combo?

I was thinking something similar. Or maybe replacing the HID spot fog lights with the 21" LED bar. Any thoughts? I know that the OP has 2x2s in his fog light location, perhaps he can comment on the LED performance in fog?

You're not crazy, I was thinking the same exact thing.

C'mon Sean...aren't we all just a little crazy?

We are all a bit crazy :). I am the first to admit that! I take a 100 series on 33's where 80's go locked on 35's :)

I do have the 2X2's in the ARB fog light location, I don't see a lot of fog in Atlanta so I honestly can't and won't answer with a false statement. I will however say if you drive in a lot of fog, a LED fog light is not going to get you far. The beam pattern is not focused enough to provide a penetrating beam, the color (k) is too high and it will only light up every spec of moisture infront of you. If you want to improve fog lighting, I would recommend going with a 3000L-3700K HID or Halogen in a spot lamp, or something that can provide a decent cutoff to minimize the fog being light up within your driving view (above the hood). You really want something that can broadcast a flat, wide, low beam that illuminates the road for street use.

All of you with orders in will be getting an update tonight through your email.

I would like to see how it's the light " cut " of the 21" bar .. if it's that possible.. I mean if the LED bar provide any light cut ..

21" Spot Please! Email sent.

Maybe I missed it, have you posted a picture of the double stacked, 8*spot/30*flood"? With 2640 lumens, what would that be equivalent to in regards to wattage?

Gotcha!

It's going to be equivalent to 36W. It's going to have very similar output to a 35W HID headlight, they typically put out around 2600-3200. So I would say your average Lexus headlight in terms of output, however it will be in a spot beam, rather than a DOT beam. It won't have the same distance as the equivalent 35W HID spot light, it's the nature of the beast.

As for the update:

I was going to do a reply all, but with the mass amount of emails I figured I would just post up here, so all could see and for those inquiring. It's finals week for me, I have two finals left to go (the main ones). I have calc on Monday @ 5PM, and Accounting on Wednesday @ 8AM. I am reading the emails and updating the list as fast as I can, however if I don't get back to you, I am probably running around campus, studying, sitting in a study session, or in class, I will do my absolute best to reply to your email. It may be easiest to call, if one has a few questions, I can send you my phone number if you'd like. Once finals are over (Wednesday :D) you will all begin to receive itemized invoices with the size, beam, shipping address, and shipping price. Once all the details are confirmed (by you), you can pay and I will put you in the "paid/not shipped" category. As for when you will get the light bar, this is where it gets complicated (for me).

My brother is moving to Chicago, IL mid December, with the "end" of the group buy being only 4 days prior to my trip to Chicago (driving), I was planning on pre-printing everything, having all the labels printed and set to ship Dec 26th when I arrived home to Atlanta. Here's the kicker, my parents decided that my Christmas present would be a plane ticket to Colorado Springs, CO (never been, always wanted to go). I will by flying direct from Chicago to Denver the 26th, that is the day I was planning on shipping everything out. So instead of waiting another week to ship out. We will be doing it in Chicago. The truck/trailer we own is getting a fresh power inverter, which will run a printer, my computer, and will be tethering my phone for internet on the way there. When we arrive in Chicago we will un-pack the u-haul trailer and begin the madness. I will be shipping all orders from Chicago. As of right now, there are roughly 27 members that have sent in orders, I have not had time to officially count up the numbers, but I would guesstimate between 40-50 individual units. Some of your neighbors are going to hate you  . I know mine thinks I'm crazy. I went to sleep at 5:30AM-ish and woke up at 8AM. I'm OUT! I have 7 un-replied emails from yesterday/today. Those of you who have not received a reply will be receiving one in the morning.

Thanks all.

When are you going to have the list? Is it going to be edited into this post?

I can edit the list into the first post. It will be member names, and zip codes. I will check and see if any two or three members are close and email them to see if they would like to split shipping. Is there another list you are thinking of?

Nope that's the list lol just for the members to make sure their order is set in stone

Deadline is Wednesday Dec 12th, correct? Gonna try and finish measuring and nail down my order this weekend.
