I got the belts on...I never noticed that the 80 has 2 redundant belts. This one only had one

Replaced the belts....replaced the crappy double post spark plugs and autolite cap/wires, and pulled the carpet and pressure washed it. Put an new PCV on it and fixed a couple of random vacuum hoses.

If it is not purring like a kitten tomorrow, I will get O2 sensors. Those look like fun to change.

The carpet is permanently stained unfortunately. I scrubbed and scrubbed but there will be dark spots. It is clean as hell though :D Taking the carpet out of an 80 is not too bad. Putting it back in is going to be a bitch though. Tucking all that crap up in there.

I removed the damage multipliers and the alarm system as I don't have a remote for it. Interior is excellent on this truck.

Tomorrow I will do the fuel filter, thermostat, and all the fluids but the tranny. I am going to dump some Lucas in that and call it good. The fluid looks and smells great.

The joints and shafts took a ton of grease and the underside muddy. I may lift it up with the track hoe and pressure wash it all. May not.

Sounds like your falling in love with it. First rule of car sales is to remember its just a piece of metal.

If it just weren't maroon!

s*** son, I have NEVER fallen in love with a car.

That said, I can't resell something that is not right.....I got room to do it right for the buyer.

I would drive this bitch in a heartbeat if SHUSH would buy my 100 :D

Nolan I will buy your truck but 2 things have to occurr....

you gotta come off the price and I have to sell the volvo

OR you could just take the volvo and $3k for the LC and with your refurbishing skills make money on it too?!!:D

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

that truck IS awesome but that color is the WORST one Toyota ever did

Im actually sort of holding out right now to find out about a promotion at work but if the right deal came along I might move an a hunnered

No sweat on the 100. It is priced right. I may get a FS post going on it and keep this 80. It is the cleanest 80 inside on the planet at this point. More details later on that. The OEM parts took care of the running rough at idle and I found some vacuum lines unhooked and the check engine light went off. Gauge is still showing it running hot but I pulled the cap and hit the water in the radiator with my IR gauge and it read 150*. I need a sending unit. Got it up to 105 mph tonight. No vibrations. Smooth as glass. Needs tires and an alignment and some small things. FS thread going up tomorrow.

well I would LOVE your hunnered...my wife thinks it is gorgeous.

the 80 looks good, but I can't get past the color...my favorite 80 color is the grey.

Tom over here in Auburn, being that he works at APR, loves to go fast and in his 80... he routinely goes that fast in his junk.
A few months ago, I filmed myself on the interstate doing 110 in the tundra. Sadly i just should have filmed it normally. but I started through the FB app and it would never upload and I ended up loosing the video. I had about 20 miles of NO ONE on the interstate due to a wreck so i decided to open it up.

The picture at 105 was blurrier, this was all I got

I hear it smooths out just past mach1 right after a big backfire. No personal experience - just what I heard.

I did that in my LX but blacked out just after 106... woke up in 1972. Groovy.
