I like the idea Joey...I've been just cutting/pasting interesting knowledge (much of it coming from your threads) to a Word doc. What a non-LandCruiser expert like me would love to see is a video or step-by-step pic catalogue of common maintenance/upgrade procedures. Think about Duiser's knuckle rebuild video with links to purchase the hub nut upgrade everyone's been raving about lately and pics/vids of installation. Or a simple diff drain and fill vid with a link to purchase an upgraded magnetic plug. You're already doing so much research and actual installation like working with Qball to install his OEM snorkel; I say visually document the process better and then sell that upgraded cutting template (or whatever it was you found useful/better for the particular application). This helps us on our end as well as yours.

I like! Wit's end YouTube channel?

Did you know k292 vs 294 can tell you if the truck being inspected has lockers?

Did you know the gas light comes on with 5 gal left in tank
Huh. I figured 4.

The light is not a hard number. It really depends on if you have had the tank open to replace the fuel sock, fuel pump, etc. The float is easy to bend and if it gets bent your gauge and light will be a little different. Like mine comes on with 7 gals left. The important thing to know is its a 25 gal tank so fill it up when the light comes on several times see how much you put in subtract from 25 and you know what you have left. Lol

YES! I mean the guy makes movies/takes pictures for a living and masturbates to Toyota LandCruiser parts catalogues! I am a psychologist, but this really isn't difficult to figure out! :flipoff2:

How about a thread that showcases all of the ingenuity and aftermarket support that is available for the 80 series. There was a post yesterday about a guy that bought an 80 and was lamenting how there hasn't been another rig built like it since and need will be. He was upset how eventually Mr. T will quit making stuff for it. My son and I were discussing this and we both agreed that there are so many guys on Mud that are creative and industrious that there will continue to be support. That companies (whether it is a full-time endeavor or just something they do as a side gig because they love doing it) solely exist to make products and provide aftermarket support for our amazing rigs. You could highlight all of the vendors such as: Wits End, Iron Pig Off Road @IPOR , 4x4 Labs, @LandCruiserPhil, Slee @sleeoffroad, YodaTeq @yodaTEQ, Victoria's Secret (strictly for the LX crowd :princess:), etc. That way new 80 owners and potential new 80 owners can see what all there is for aftermarket support. They can see that super cool, heavily modded 80 (or LX) and find out where to get all of the cool toys. Instead of rolling down to Pep Boys and asking them and buying a bunch of DeeZee or Smittybilt crap. They can support the companies that support us. Thus building the market for all of those guys which makes them more money and encourages them to create cool new products! Win-win for everyone!

Most importantly they can see that the 80 has been around for 24 years and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The more we support these guys the longer the 80 will last.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the vendors, sorry, maybe Joey (@NLXTACY) can add them... :)

I'm a genius for coming up with this idea! Do I win?!?!? :flipoff2:

I'm pretty sure you have a PM that reads a whole lot like this from late last night :flipoff2:

Thus the "I'm a genius for coming up with this idea!" :)

The Tow hook bolts will also work for a lost caliper bolt. Although slightly long for upper bolt.

Is there any other interchangable bolts?

Did you know you can sleeve a bent tie-rod with a hi-lift handle.

Joey-- do you have an online store where we can, you know, buy ****?

I have money put aside for some of your designs.

:)

Technically yes. The site has been finished for over a month. I just don't have final production units that I can photograph nor installs of most of it so I can shoot and finish the instruction sheets. In due time. It's not waiting on me, it's waiting on other folks right now ;)

I'll send you the link so you can check it out and see what you think.

Are you hinting I have something to do today. :flipoff2:
