Hello everyone! Are all 80 series front/rear axles using the same gear ratios for the ring and pinions? I have a 1994 and looking to swap a 1996 rear axle into it. Also would the 1996 rear axle be a direct swap bolt in? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance

Do you have rear disc or drum brakes?

All USA 96 have FF disc brake rear and 4.11:1 gear ratio.

94's could have had a FF with disc (most common) with 4.11:1. A few have had drums with SF 4.11
