Was shocked to see a 97 LX450 in my pick and pull today, they had just put it out. Body is in great shape, wish somebody would not have scrapped it. The good news is, it's not triple locked. It has a little over 300k miles on it. Was wondering If I should pull the Tcase, Front and rear axles, Fenders, running boards, etc. Basically need to know what this stuff sells for to know if it's worth it? Any other stuff I should pull? Here is what I pulled today:

-Air cleaner assembly
-guage cluster
-climate control
-climate control/radio bezel
-door cards
-rear hatch and tailgate
-four factory wheels
-sunvisors
-kick panel trims
-Oh S handles
-dome lights
-headrests
-OEM tail lights
-One OEM turn signal
-Complete luggage rack setup
-ABS pump
-spare tire tools
-floor mats

Picture of said 80 series, because I know that's what everyone wants to see:

Looks like airbag on passenger side may have been deployed so I assume front-end damage?
Air bags were not deployed. That one is pulled loose, if that makes sense? Minor front damage, just cracked the grill. Core support and everything is straight.

I'd say the steering wheel, if it's not eaten up, the doors, and rear sliding windows (the glass is NLA; oddly enough the fixed glass, which I've never seen in the US is available - in the US). Any good harnesses, engine, dash, body, etc.

I always grab the rear sunroof drain tubes (they're NLA) to replace the font tubes with.

ECU and Cruise control computer.

Axles go for between $500 and $600 around here. No idea what they get where you are.

CATs are lifetime items.

The frame is valuable to someone doing 60 series body swaps, but they'll want axles to go with it, and the yard won't sell a roller if it's scrapped, so you may not be able to get that from them.

Headlight assemblies, taillight assembly, wiring harnesses (even though not 3x locked, should have the same harness, and the pigtail to the locker is coveted) ECU. Seatbelts too.

Pull as bolts, screws (from dash), etc. Having a small stash of spare 12, 14mm and the interior screws are helpful.

Interior plastics, especially the upper door pillars, as people want them for headliner swaps.

All good info, appreciate it! I'll need to research what harness I need to grab and how to get it. Also need to figure out how to pul the sliding windows. Pretty sure I'll snag the front and rear axles. The computer was the only thing somebody beat me to.

Steering box, MAF, distributor and radio.
Just look at previous ads for pricing or post up what you have and take offers. I’m sure you will easily double your money on all items.

Was not sure the radio was worth anything, figured all the other Lexus made in that era had the same one. Has a factory cd changer in the console. Did not know about the distributor, I'll grab it. Wonder how much a pita the steering box is to pull

My brother Centex 60 mentioned to you that I’m looking g for fender flairs - mainly rear passenger.

Got to talk to the guy that buys and sells, as well as does the title processing on the cars at the yard. He said they drove that LX from Houston and sold it to them. He said he drove it around the yard a few days and it was mint. Trying to decide if I want to pull the drivetrain. Also, ran a carfax on it and it was a one owner. Apparently that original owner sold it to the kid that scrapped it. The reason he scrapped it was because there were two names on the title and he could not get it titled. Here is the carfax on it: CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 1997 LEXUS LX 450: JT6HJ88J6V0184337 - https://www.autovhr.com/deal/CFReports-ran/Deal-CFreport_1727453414.html

Oh, that's just sad. Maybe try a little harder, kid. There had to be a way, but there isn't now!
