F) No way. Stock is good for my intended use and purpose of the truck.

c) Under $1000, My 80 is supecharged so I'd like to see dyno spec for that.

Man-a-fre had a tuned ceramic coated header, looked very, very similar in desidn except it had ball/socket connection at the collector because the flange/gasket style would go through gaskets too fast. They were retailing them at 595.00 and had to discontinue them for lack of interest The last 25 took 2 1/2 years to sell.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Looks like we'll be going ahead with this. We're aiming to have the first production batch finished, on the shelf and ready to ship by the middle of November. The material will remain 304 stainless steel. We don't do cheap steel (aka, use and dispose parts). Ceramic coating will be optional for those that want it. Dyno testing before/after will be done for sure on a naturally aspirated stock FZJ80. We don't have a supercharged FZJ80 here at the shop, but if anyone with a supercharged FZJ80 wants to volunteer and wants these headers we can dyno before/after on a supercharged FZJ80 as well.

Here are photos of another set that we finished up earlier this week. This set has 1 5/8" runners, "Tri-y" design, and dual catalytic converters after the merge and bolts directly up to the EMSPowered exhaust.

Id much prefer ditching expensive stainless option and doing a steel option thats ceramic coated/dipped for underhood heat control.

X2 what he said. ;)

How's the turbo kit coming? Version for turbo kit?

Tell me more about your complete exhaust systems. I want to keep smog legal as well. Not too loud, no drone.

I have a snorkel on my expedition rig and really want to keep the factory air cleaner.

I would be interested in a high flow single cat down pipe that would bolt up to the stock exhaust. I would love to ditch the dual cat setup on my 95' without getto rigging it. A turbo header would be sweet as well!

Price depending on performance, I have sc, if you need a sc truck for dyno, ping me

So no chance of seeing before November?

I'd like to knock the entire system out, at once, and expecting UPS any day for the exhaust.
We can make you a one off set right now. What I was talking about for November was a production run that would be made in higher volume and stocked for quick shipment. Shoot me an email and we can ho over details for a set of headers for you sooner if you're ready to pull the trigger.

Turbo kit prototyping and jigs are al finished. I'll post an update in the turbo thread here in a minute.

Our exhaust systems are built to order. they can be made loud, medium, or quiet with zero, one or two cats. Let me know of you have any questions I can answer.

We used to offer just the ypipe/downpipe upgrade but stopped offering it after we quickly realized that people were buying the rest of the exhaust soon after they installed the new ypipe. It's just better/cheaper to do it all at once and just buy our header-back exhaust, or our headers + exhaust.

Are you local or near Austin, TX? If you ate I may take you up on that offer soon.

My old SC 80 had headers and were short lived due to high EGT would SS be able to handle the high temps of a SC without failure?

We build these out of the same materials we build many of our turbo headers and doe.pipes which see even higher temps than an SC'd 1fzfe.

What turbo temps do you see?

It depends on the engine, cam timing, amount of boost, ignition timing, etc.. generally on boosted engines we see anywhere from 1200-2000f

Shoot me an email

I've tried emailing and calling on several occasions to check status of my current order, to no avail and no reply.

Not only an I interested in the status of my current order, but interested in cost and realistic timeline on headers.

Please PM, email, or call me with info for all.
