I have had several inquires from mud/csc members concerning the cost of having their 80 seats re-upholstered. My pricing on these seats is determined by their complex, multi piece nature. My quoted price has been $975 minus 10% for CSC Members.
In this market I understand $975 is a heafty price. The only way for me to bring the price down is bulk. My Upholster/seamster (seamstress seems so feminine for a 50 year old man) can create a patter, sew the pieces, and cover one set of 80 seats in about a day and a half. Or, he can create 1 pattern, and sew 10 seat sets in twice that time.
Quantity is key. If 10 CSC/Mud members will commit to having their front 80 seats reupholstered I will lower the price to $775 per set, installed and out the door. At this price I can not include any discount, sorry.
This price is for a synthetic material or factory cloth. Honestly, It is a good substitute and may trick you if not for the smell of genuine leather. If you want 100% leather, increase the price to $1600
What do you all think. Any feedback is always appreciated.
