I'm hopefully going to look at a super clean, white 1994 80 today. It has 260K on the odometer. i don't know anything about it yet or if it's had the timing belt changed. Sign said 5K OBO. What's it worth??? Thanks!!!

260 is high-mileage. By "super clean", it had better be MINT for that coin. If it is just in very good condition (inside and out), I'd say $4000, tops.

If you do look at it, and if it is as clean as you say, but if there are any mechanical issues (bad motor or tranny), and you decide to pass on it, please PM me...

FWIW: My '97 has over 280K on the clock, with original engine, tranny and Timing belt. Still running strong, err.. except for the AC, which I need to fix pronto or the wife won't give my Silverado back.

that is alot of mielage for the asking price..... It is hard to say on price with out seeing pics and the current mech. condition but I'd think $3500-$4000 would be more in line

good luck:cheers:

thanks for the info. i've seen this cruiser around town for the last year or two and it drove by my office with a for sale sign today. it's just a really clean cruiser, hopefully it'll check out. thanks.

hopefully they didnt change the timing belt :D

on the high side for sure but ultimately its condition and your intended use will dictate whats fair.
We had a member pick up a 94 with lockers and 225k with a repaint and releather for 2500
also there was a 94 here locally with no lockers but 114k miles for 3800
fourtraxx picked his up over a year ago with bumpers and roof rack for 5500, dont know mileage

Why would you not want want the timing belt changed?

Because there is no timing belt on an 1FZ-FE, it has a timing chain
