Amsoil dealer recommended mtf in the tc which smooths out engagement.

This guy does know oil based on bitog posts. With that said, I’m not going to run atf in my tc when other (imo superior) options that meet defined Toyota spec exist.

2022 - present tundras use atf in the transfer case, so says the manual
not the same application as the OP, but interesting

Not here, but via another forum - tacoworld.

FWIW, I do trust a lot of what the same recommending user has to offer on bob oil guy but this is a time I have a difference of opinion.
