no 80 but i imagine a diesel 60 would be close.

'86 60 with 1HZ, H55F, stock 3.70's and 33x12.5 tires:

I average 21mpg per tank of mostly city driving.
I figure about 23-25 highway.
worst i have gotten for a tank was about 18mpg (Loaded down with all my crap, climbing the mountains on a trip home).

Example:
Trip to URE - left friday evening with full tank arrived leter that evening. wheeled all day saturday, drove back sunday and filled up on the way back. Total travel was about 300 miles for the tank (it was not empty when I filled up, a little over 1/4 tank left). i averaged 23mpg for the trip including the day of wheeling.

hope it helps.

Personal experience of my HDJ80.

Around town - so bad it's not even worth mentioning (probably around 16mpg imperial)

On a normal run - about 23mpg imperial

On a decent long run on mainly highway at around 70mph - around 28mpg

Overall around 25 mpg, but then a lot of my driving is on highway at a decent speed. Lots of 80 to 100 mile journeys.

HDJ80 is Diesel 80 series for rest of the world. HDJ81 is Japanese Domestic Market. A few differences but not much - mainly some of the options that are fitted and rearely get Leather on an HDJ81 and also rarely get sliding rear windows which are standard on the HDJ80. Also trim level names are different - basically VX and VX limited seem to be the two levels of the JDM models whereas GX and VX are the rest of the world models.

Oh!! Crushers beat me to it.!!!

thank you very much for your answers;)

I will sleep less stupid this evening!!!:grinpimp:

Traveling at about 100kph (62mph) on the highway I am using:
-11.25 Liters per 100Km
-25.1 Imperial miles per gallon, or
-21 US miles per gallon

Winter city driving I use about:
-15L per 100KM
-18.8 Imperial miles per gallon
-15.8 US miles per gallon.

In the summer I imagine city driving to be 13 Liters per 100KM.

Here is some note worthy info that will effect millage:
-I have an Auto transmission.
-I live in the mountains, so I am always going up and down large hills on the highway.
-I am also running 285/75/16 (33") BFG AT tires
-I have a 2 inch lift.
-I also have a big roof rack as seen below.
-I have done nothing to my engine yet. It's still running as it was set up at the factory.

Cheers,
Nick

love the mirrors...

Thanks Wayne,
They are a rare Japanese factory option.
They are power mirrors controled from with in the cab.
They even retract (albiet manually and not auto).

There is so many neat japanese options on these things.
I find more all the time. Its about -20 here at night, so the other day I went to fit some cardboard in front of my rad.
Low and behold, there is a pull down screen for my rad to limit airflow when its cold. Very cool.

Cheers,
Nick

I perform a lots of milleage ( km in my case ) in my HDJ-80 1HD-T engine 95, with Auto tranny A442, 285 tires AT and 1.5" coil spacers ..

City drive ( with a lots of traffic here in Panamá :D ) no more than 14mpg not measure it in highway yet.

So my HJ-60 2H 37" no more 18 mgp.

You like the bling don't ya Wayne? You gonna bring the next one in with these?

Like Wayne said I pulled 24mpg at 90-120kph average over 3600km in winter. HDJ81, 2.5 OME lift. 285/75r16 toobs....

nah, i like the look and the ease of using them but they are rare and if some punk ever snapped them off it would be a pain trying to replace...

More often than not I get 8 kilometers per liter highway and about 5-6 city. On good days when my foot is well behaved, I'll get 10 kilometers highway, but that's not all that often.
