*HIH7 OPENING NIGHT GATHERING*
Please join Stan and Chris for a laid back evening of drinks and good vibes at Southern Pacific located at the beautiful Wyman Hotel in Silverton Colorado on Wednesday evening, July 26th, from 6:30-9:00pm.
This event is brought to us by longtime HIH supporter, Carl Montoya of Nitro Gear and Axle and Just Differentials and will feature complimentary drinks and light hors d'oeuvres prepared specifically for HIH guests. The Wyman's owners are Land Cruiser aficionados, so you can expect nothing but the best.
After check-in and registration at HIH headquarters, grab your lanyard and HIH badge and walk less than 1/2 mile up 14th St from camp to the Wyman. Walking map Your badge serves as your entry ticket and you will receive a drink ticket upon check-in at the Southern Pacific. At a minimum, everyone's first round is on us and we'll keep going until the next round of tickets runs out. As the night progresses, a cash bar will remain open. Please take care of your servers and Wyman staff. They've been fantastic to work with and are excited to have us in town. Don't forget to personally thank Carl and his team at Nitro for supporting this great event.
We'll be out back in the beautiful courtyard enjoying the mountain air in a fantastic setting. Don't miss it. This is a relaxed atmosphere in a mountain town. Come as you are and bring the family. Welcome to 100s in the Hills!

Brought both my bikes last year with the thought I might ride over a pass. Or, ride into town, but I was just tripping over them thoughHow many people are bringing bikes with them? Trying to decide if it's worth it, or if I would just be tripping on them the whole time.

A little bummed as I ordered sliders in April and they were supposed to arrive in 10 weeks in time for HIH but now delayed... Was looking forward to Poughkeepsie but I'm going to play it safe and go with the bypass this time. Hoping the bypass brings us right by the Wall though as I'd like to walk it and get as sense for the obstacle. I think I've done equally difficult obstacles in my truck as is but probably playing it safe is the best option since it's unfamiliar.
Still super excited overall though![]()
[/QUOTE]The Wall is a little ways off of the intersection that goes to the bypass. Actually a couple slider touching possibilities along the road up to Wall, depending on lines selected. You could do it all without sliders, it would just take some pretty good line selections. And no rain.
Shane, your place is really cool. Thanks for having us! 100's is just getting better and better! We could not be more excited to be part of this event! If anyone has any Silverton specific questions, I am happy to do my best to help.

I'm planning on getting some good shots with my drone/camera. I'm hoping to have a really solid movie to put together to advertise HIH to keep the momentum going.
Here is one of my previous movies. I'm probably going to be walking around camp with a camera bugging people to for some commentary
I'll also probably be bugging the group by stopping to get it in the air and stopping again to land. People tend to appreciate it when they see their truck in the aerial shots though.
