I had opened the HIHs website earlier today and left the clock running most of the day.
Problem is when I left the house the computer went to sleep mode, when I opened it back up the clock was off and I didn't realize it until past the time!:bang:

I was on the phone talking to Sarah for 30min past the opening time!
Freaked at first after figuring it out but made it through no problem! Cheers to that!

I remember our around the fire conversation last year and now I'm joining the club @cboyd and Carl Montoya. Making my 3rd solo trip!

First time our family stayed at the lodge in Ouray, 2nd I had the RTT for myself, 3rd i brought a ground tent and last year the whole family gathered in the tent trailer. I'm solo again so what should I do?
 
This will be my 2nd year, but first as a driver!!! So stoked. I wonder if Mike (BIO), Ben (Dissent) and Cristo (Slee) will see a spike in orders tomorrow ;)

I've already put my order with Ben I few days ago!!! Will show up with Dissent front and rear! Just wait and now that I bought it I may get one in the raffle as well!
 
Well guys and gals....can't thank you enough. We are currently 2 registrants shy of hitting 80. Not too bad at all. Going to set the registration to accept waitlist from 81 and beyond. As we progress through the next round of planning, we may accept the waitlisters (in order, of course). This was a fun event when we only had 10 trucks showing up, so numbers are not a driving force for us. Thanks for taking the time today to sign up. It is pretty humbling to see the excitement around an event that @paflytyer and I see as an annual way to get out and have a good time in the mountains of Colorado. Keep your eye out for more details surrounding trail selections and other offerings we are still continuing to work on. We will keep FB, IG, and the website up to date, as well.

That was a fun 90 minutes....stay tuned for more cool stuff. Support your vendors and get those rigs prepped for the Hills!

I'll most likely let Slee put in my locker as well since I don't see myself having any free time for it in the near future!
Have a couple extra lights installed since last trip, a snorkel and a big ass awning!

This is one of the reasons that I may be rolling mostly stock, except a sensor lift. The stuff the sponsors are bringing is going to be out of this world! Now that I've said that, I'll walk away with like a bobble head of @bluecruiser or @paflytyer, which would be pretty cool though.....I wonder.....hey Chris and Stan, send me a headshot! I have an idea.

Unfortunately I won't be there this year. I'll be in Australia sourcing more products for you guys.

Chris and I have been in contact for the goodies.

Damn was out running cows all day and missed it. We had planned on making this our summer trip and hitting Moab on way back up to Idaho. Is anyone doing Moab after? Hope there is some spots coming available. We sure wanted to make this. I registered on the waiting list. Fingers crossed.
 
I am horrible with names and stuff. So if I talked and/hung out with any of you during HIH3, you will have to remind me. I do remember @ntsaint and someone else pulled into the KOA we were staying at in Albuquerque. I caravanned with a family. I don't remember those names. I think it was @Bloomer who was set up in camp close me and my boy? I do remember @bluecruiser and @paflytyer. My interaction with Chris was when I asked him a dumb question about why my oil pressure seemed low. And I will never forget watching Stan helping my boy catch trout with his fly rod.

I can't wait to see you all again, and please don't be shy to tell me if you remember me and how I can remember you.

This year, there is a couple breweries in Arkansas now, so it will be super local beer I'm bringing!

I am super excited. This trip means so much to me! Me and my boy literally teared when we left Colorado on the way home last time.

Be ready for some hugs from this guy!
 
Ahhh, lucky me...again! This is what I get for helping a buddy swap a 5-speed into his 80 yota pickup this evening :eek:

My family was the one you caravanned with 4 years ago. We are from Albuquerque: Marc, Danise, Colin(15) and Paige (14). If you or anyone else is up for a caravan heading up from Alb. on Wed. morning, feel free to join us. I'll be cruising a little slow, towing my popup trailer.

Any tips in how you manage doing the drive Solo? Where in Ca are you coming from?
My co driver backed out so did not register. Driving solo from San Francisco in an 20 hrs drive is not something I looked forward too. I'm bummed since I have both front and rear bumpers now and other mods . Tempted to join the waiting list
