Well guys and gals....can't thank you enough. We are currently 2 registrants shy of hitting 80. Not too bad at all. Going to set the registration to accept waitlist from 81 and beyond. As we progress through the next round of planning, we may accept the waitlisters (in order, of course). This was a fun event when we only had 10 trucks showing up, so numbers are not a driving force for us. Thanks for taking the time today to sign up. It is pretty humbling to see the excitement around an event that @paflytyer and I see as an annual way to get out and have a good time in the mountains of Colorado. Keep your eye out for more details surrounding trail selections and other offerings we are still continuing to work on. We will keep FB, IG, and the website up to date, as well.

That was a fun 90 minutes....stay tuned for more cool stuff. Support your vendors and get those rigs prepped for the Hills!

thx

Well I just got back from driving LA to PHX and registered at 5:41 a minute after you posted this! And I am in so excited! See you all in July!

I am horrible with names and stuff. So if I talked and/hung out with any of you during HIH3, you will have to remind me. I do remember @ntsaint and someone else pulled into the KOA we were staying at in Albuquerque. I caravanned with a family. I don't remember those names. I think it was @Bloomer who was set up in camp close me and my boy? I do remember @bluecruiser and @paflytyer. My interaction with Chris was when I asked him a dumb question about why my oil pressure seemed low. And I will never forget watching Stan helping my boy catch trout with his fly rod.

I can't wait to see you all again, and please don't be shy to tell me if you remember me and how I can remember you.

This year, there is a couple breweries in Arkansas now, so it will be super local beer I'm bringing!

I am super excited. This trip means so much to me! Me and my boy literally teared when we left Colorado on the way home last time.

Be ready for some hugs from this guy!
Yep, that was us that pulled in late to camp with @bamabrock and @ntsaint (the initial Southern Cruisers/100s to HiH), and we set up camp next to you. Will be 5th year attending for us, although year 3 was cut short as my youngest son experienced a severe case of altitude sickness and required we make a run to lower elevation. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Glad to hear you're back in a 100 and will be able to attend this year.

I may of clicked too many shirts and hoodies in my haste. We can work it out later though.

I'm working on logistics today. What will the actual wheeling days be (may of missed it, sorry)? I understand the 26th is the arrival day, then 27, 28, 29 and 30 are wheeling.

Every year this event just gets better and better! I love the excitement from all of the returning attendees, reuniting with one another, and all the NEWBS that are excited, but who really don't know what they will experience! You all will be blown away by all that this event has to offer...from the trails, the scenery, the great people, the food and more! The count down is on!

Not to rain on the parade...but to echo someone else's comment, pack a good rain coat and a pair of boots...just in case we get a sprinkle or two, which if history repeats itself, plan on it! It's better to have them with you and not use them, than not to have them and wish you did! ;-)

And...as Stan commented...I will be helping out with getting you settled in as you arrive at camp...thanks in advance for your patience and understanding that we'll all do our best to find the areas to meet your needs! It can get a little chaotic at times. You can help out by planning on efficient camp set ups and not getting too sprawled out, so we can make sure those arriving later in the day, will have enough room to set up too!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in just a few months!

I got skunked fishing yesterday but when I got back to cell service I had a text from the wife saying she got us all registered. Really looking forward to this. I've been in Silverton in the winter to ski but never been there in the summer, I can only imagine how awesome it is.

Does anyone know how the Verizon cell service is there? Specifically whether you can get LTE signal or not? I may need to do a little "working remotely" from camp.

Verizon LTE worked great last year. I do remember some people with AT&T had trouble.

son of a gun, this is the 2nd year I've tried to register and been waitlisted! i didn't see that registration opened until it showed up in my Facebook feed, a full 24 hours later.....

c'mon waitlist, don't fail me!

@dfinn are you still in Sandy? That makes at least 3 of us that got registered from the valley.

The Verizon signal is great in town and there are a few cafes that have WiFi.

I zoned out on my way back from Big Bend and didn't pull over in time to register. Looks like I missed it by just a few minutes. I'm on the waitlist. Hopefully no one has to drop out, but I want in too. :D

Click sold out button and get on waiting list. It's pretty fluid early on and chances are high to get in. Thx
Ha! If there is a chance of not succeeding I usually win that :hillbilly: Does a 'waitlist' email get sent out to verify you are on the list or how far down you are?

I'll be there on tuesday and we can get started on the whiskey early, I mean, I can help you get folks settled around camp and situated however it is you may need assistance!

Did this trip some years ago and loved it! Have fun everyone, it's a blast!

That would be great Paulo! We'll definitely need some help...I don't know for sure what day I will be rolling in, either Tuesday night or more likely early Wednesday morning!

I'm rolling in Monday Brad, be glad to help however i can.

I am. I'm not exactly sure yet when we will head down but it might be cool to caravan with you guys if it works out.
I'm not sure either but it'll be my first trip to Colorado and I think I'm going to head out early and bum around for a few days before it officially starts. Scott or odesyus or however he spells that is the other one that I know is going. Let's keep in touch.

Don't think we have a email notification for that. We are up to 30 on waitlist. Wow. Should be able to review permit and other components of planning within the next week or so and include a few more rigs. You will definitely hear from us if we get to your name. If not, we will likely have a couple of folks drop out over the next month or so, then we will go back to list. Lockdown end of April due to need to get orders going.

Thx

For those of you looking to arrive early, we're working on an overnighter (maybe a double-overnighter) to the event. We will be starting from the Denver area and can probably take 10 vehicles with us. We will post something in the coming weeks about registering for that. You must be an HIH7 attendee. There will be no additional charge or anything. Pulling a trailer probably wont work as the areas we're looking at are not trailer friendly. We'll have a simple email list for this portion. Stay tuned.
