What are some shifter boot ideas after modifying body/trans cover for small block chevy on a 1979 FJ40. Downey, back in the day and Advance recommends moving drivetrain forward for correct engine placement. This puts the shifter boots at the bend between firewall and trans cover, under the heater box. I think using the original boots and bending them will not look or function well. Pictures and mfg. of boots would be great. Thanks....
