This is a 79 FJ40. It is located in North Central Arkansas. I have owned it for about 3 years. My wife purchased it for me for our 10th anniversary. I just don't have the time to work on it to make more out of it.

I am asking $3950.00 OBO.

It runs strong, always starts up and I use it to travel in the woods with no trouble.

It does have rust as you can see in the Pics. The frame is in good shape it had been painted/undercoated quite bit it looks like.

My wife purchased it from a company she did some work for and they had it for about 4 years just sitting up not in active use. It came from northern California before that.

I have replaced the following:
Rebuilt Carb
Brake Master Cylinder
Fuel Pump

Thanks for looking

power steering or ac?

Had Questions on it being registered and condition of some parts.

It is currently registered, the radiator is in good condition with no leaks and it keeps the engine at temp. The brakes are in working condition, I have not inspected them for some time now.

I will post pics of the engine and a link to it running if that helps.

Please ask any questions so I can give the best info possible.

Thanks

Justin

price drop $3450.00

No inspection here. It has been driven many miles without many issues. Dusty on a dirt road but fine on the pavement and fine going slow though the woods.

I have just listed it on Craigslist in Little Rock, AR.

Do you mind sharing what you got out of that? I would expect that anything over $1000-1200 would be a spectacular accomplishment given the rust.

I am not at liberty to disclose the amount sold for. I do not want to discourage the future project enthusiast.

I do have to say that the sale price was well above the amount questioned.

Thank you for your interest.

By the way the truck ran great. Everything worked on it, all electrical worked, always started with no trouble, it just ran great. Hated to get rid of it.
