So here’s my project fj40 that I’ve been working on for a few years. There’s a lot here and some of it has been done and anyone with some skill and knowledge could have this thing wheeling in no time. I’ve just lost interest and with my limited skill and time I just can’t get her finished. Hate to say it but I just don’t have the need to get it done. So my loss could be someone else’s gain. Lots of money has been spent on this in parts and labor (by others) and I know that I’m never going to get that for it. Here is a list of what I have. I’ll try my best to explain what’s been done but a phone call would probably be best to describe it all.
283 chevy engine that runs.
TH400 built by Carson Valley Transmission.
Art Carr gated shifter.
Atlas T case with twin stick.
Corporate 14 bolt with ARB air locker and disc brakes.
Dana 60 driver side drop with ARB air locker. Warn hubs.
SOLID High steer arms with cross over steering.
Chevy 1 ton brake booster and master cylinder.
Custom length Alcan leaf springs with spring over. Stretched 6”.
Warn 8274 winch
Custom front and rear bumper. Rear has Jerry can holder and tire mount.
Custom powder coated Raceline real beadlock wheels.
40” Pro Comp tires never used.
Man-a-fre custom full width under seat fuel cell.
New PRP seats with wide drivers size.
New PRP harnesses.
New Flaming River GM tilt steering column. Billet wheel.
New wiring harness.
Custom dash panels.
New SW gauges.
Custom cage with frame tie in.
New fold and tumble rear seat.
Full enclosed cab with door and rear ambulance doors.
Steel half doors.
Steel tailgate panel.
Like I said a phone call to discuss what’s been done would be best. I really don’t know what it’s worth because there’s no way I’m going to get what I’ve spent. So I’ll start at 15 K obo. I think it’s worth more than that parted out but I really don’t want to go that route. I’d rather see someone finish it and wheel it. My loss your gain. I have a ton more pictures if needed.
