Blinkers and hazards are the big, lower amber light.

i recently bought a set of NEW OEM Front Turn Signal Lamps / Lights from SOR for
a 1982 FJ40
after install i fired up for a test drive , to my surprise the side small square AMBER
lens is OFF when parking lamps ON ans Blinks with the turn Signals ?
SOR had ripped off the parts tags , However dropped one in my shipped box
the part # is a NON-USA Japan spec. and the parking and turn bulbs blink and stay steady ON oppisite of a USA spec .
i called them , just to see what was what , and got the big we don't know what your
talking about B/S
i confirmed this by taking apart the lamp and sure enough , the USA spec side marker is run as a blinking turn wire
- i got pissed , it was a client shop job , and i cut and re-soldered all the internals
to make is function as a USA combo lamp as everyone has discussed above
so BEWARE of the NON-USA late model park front turns...........from SOR
re-wiring and soldiering too several hours ............
to make it right ...
it seams maybe the USA lamps are now DISC. ?
or
just a lower price point on the non-usa ones too is a possibility ?
mine had the 3rd updated White ground wire with black tracer stripe too........btw
