Wasn't sure what I was going to do with the gas tank cover and tranny hump cover last week so, I left them in primer. Today, I decided to use the MONSTALINER for continuity of color in the cab. Should be finished next Saturday. Spent the morning chasing threads and test fitting some of the interior parts (pics to follow). Just trying to follow-up on as many of the "smaller projects" before bolting on the hood and fenders (assuming they weren't sold for scrap or abducted by aliens). Last "before pics" of gas tank cover and tranny hump cover pre-MONSTA. I'll post up the results next week......

New lenses arrived in support of the turn signal rehab. Old lenses had been over-tightened at some point and the gaskets were unserviceable..So, new lenses and gaskets were in order.

I re-purposed an old set of turn signal bases to "rehab" my right signal. Missing one retaining screw, but everything lined up and worked with the OEM turn signal base.

The breakfast table made a handy "rebuild platform"....:hillbilly:

Finished turn signals. I brought the right lens in for some wiring and soldering. I'll finish it up this week. Should work without issues. Noticed the base on the left signal was cracked (from over-torquing). I'll probably switch out the base on the left signal as well..Overall, I saved a few $$ by re-purposing some parts from an old set of turn signals I had on the shelf...

Battery hold down arrived...Test fit was a "GO". Bought the battery last fall in November after my "Red-Top" gave up the ghost after a little over two (2) years of service. Just long enough for the warranty to expire...

Picked up some aftermarket seat belts for the jump seats. Original? no. Functional? yes. Still running the original belts in the front. There are starting to show their age. May have them "refurbished". That's low on the priority list (REF: TLC=Time+$$$)...

Chased threads from last weeks MONSTALINER application. Added stainless hardware to all the mounts. Very close to wrapping up the cab interior. Most of these small jobs are  at best. But, time consuming and necessary IOT wrap up the cab.

Are the lenses OEM? Where did you source them from regardless? My housings look decent, but the lenses look pretty rough, also where did you get the rear housings and lenses?

Are the lenses OEM?

Yes, OEM lenses and gaskets..Sourced from Griffith Motorsports. Same place I found the OEM Fog Lights. Lens retaining screws are aftermarket from SOR. Good heavy "Dawn Dish-washing Liquid" soak De-greased the housings. The housings are my old ones off the mule. I bought an aftermarket set awhile back. I used the bases from the aftermarket lights to "rehab" my old housing.

More small jobs..Coil and "re-furbed" bracket mated. Found a "formerly new" set of defrost ducts to replace my worn out set. Added a little silicon to the dizzy boot.

Jack will need a fresh coat of paint sometime in the future. Depending on how long my hood and fenders are MIA I may get to it sooner than later...

I test mounted heater assembly IOT cut new hoses. Hose clamps are on upside down in the pics. Heater went through a rebuild earlier. I repainted the hose protectors and corrected the wayward clamps later on. I think I am going to extend the "liner" a little higher in the foot wells.

Test fit the "tuffy" console mount along with the driver/passenger seat bracket(s). Everything lined up and looks like the console will mount up nicely..Should have the tranny hump cover and gas tank cover completed on Saturday.
