75 water pump ?

im replacing my waterpump on my 75 40, i ordered a new pump, its the same as my stock pump but it has a line for an oil cooler, ( i dont have an oil cooler ) cant i just cap it off if so what would u rec

Get a cap and buy a spare cap. That's what I run on my '68, and the first time my oil cooler line cap cracked, I did not have a spare. Ended up trail fabbing one with a piece of heater hose and a 3/8" socket extension!

I used that extra hole in the waterpump to mount a sender for my Autometer watertemp gauge...no drilling or tapping, just a short length of hose and a couple hoseclamps.
