And the weekend we didn’t run the rubicon I been putting it off, My brother and I changed the valve seals, The shop that did the head work put Chevy LS seals in it, We could not find the right ones, Georg at Valley Hybrids in Stockton came through for me apparently it a odd seal, the one on the left is a Chevy LS seal almost the same as toyota but no seal on the bottom like on right it would smoke at start up, Now it seems like it ok no smoke

This is how we did it Put rope in spark plug hole , and compressed to hold the valves up

So I just met Robert at a car show (TODAY) , He"s a Gear- head ,I ask around anybody got a Lathe I need this made .
He said come on over (Today ) I can do it easy job , He made these for free and we had some good fellowship , I was just amazed at his fabrication skill and his Happiness with his life , He crashed his motorcycle into a guard rail at 75 mph years ago . He has a good soul and a Great outlook on Life , I was so impress .
Any way this is my 1975 striped out wiper arm fix ,He made the slug spacers , I used 65 Mustang arms Hope it works ?

Well today we worked on the 68, needed to install the back tailgate it was off the vehicle when we picked it up, This is not a easy fix very difficult, I helped my brother and with this new jack, Wow what a jack it was much easier than the short original one. Longer is always better, Pics of jacks

Heck of a jack. What is it out of or did you guys make that extension? Glad to hear you got that rod under control and screwed down.
I found that jack at a Land Cruiser swap meet it is a Toyota jack that baby got some shaft length. Tailgate very tuff to install never again
