So this is the next phase on the UN 55, Iam going try to put this power steering box on, Thanks to Pigeaten and this power steering box ( 79 Mini box ) and the extra shock mount I got from the Hog farm, Iam trying to keep the stock look, this will take time because of the holidays, What do you think ? Same bolt pattern but different angle, I could just make a new shock mount easy fix but want that shock mount enjoy pics.

What size tires are you running?
I am thinking you will be better off w/ a 60/80 series PS conversion...

33x10.5, I have a scout box but I don’t want To cut the inside fender, I just need it to turn a little easier, This is just a asphalt rig, trying to keep it as close to original and not cut any sheet metal, I know all about power steering on trail rigs you need all the good stuff, this might not even work if not back to manual steering. Thanks bud I’ll keep you updated

I’ve run my mini truck box with 33x1050r15 BFG MTs and ATs with no issues. Combo of daily driver and moderate off road but I’m not a rock crawler. More might be better but not always necessary.

Yes, on a 1974 FJ 55.

Needed a simple adapter to mount the mini truck box. Believe it came from JT Outfitters or Iron Pig Off-Road.
