I just came across a very well built camper that a coach company put on mid to late 80's Toyota truck chassis. The camper is called the Sunrader and came in 18' and 21' models both 2x4 and 4x4 though the 4x4 versions are very rare. I was thinking the 18' would make a great expedition camper on a 75 or 79 series truck chassis.

I like the bonded, molded fiberglass top and bottom method of construction. I would close up the walk through cab design and put it on my 79 series pick-up on an 80 series frame/axles and 1FZFE build... It's fun to dream.

Wish I had that ability.. Maybe someone else that ability and wouldn't mind chopping the camper on a 79 series cab.

Hmmm. I wonder if that might make titling a 75 series easier. You could apply for a title for the camper and might not have to mess around with the cab and chassis title as a separate unit.

I bet my brother in the RV business might be able to tell me how an RV is titled. If it uses the cab and chassis for emissions and such or if it's titled as a unit build by the RV comapany.

Never thought of that, But I bet the truck motor and frame VIN would come into play. Never know though.

I could do it for you just get me a photo of the Cruiser that matches either the 1st or 3rd photos of the Sunrader. So either a side shot or 3/4 shot of the cruiser and I will see what I can do.
