Edit: The set in the first set of pics is still for sale. $50 shipped.

I bought a bender and I'm going to make myself up a set of hard lines. I'll take pictures of my first set, then you can decide if you want some. These will be copies of the stock lines, following the same route all the way to the stock Aisin carb. I'll let you know if I can include the nut unions. I'm going to look for some today.

I'm thinking $45 for both or $25 for either plus a box and a ride from 95126. I'll include nut unions #11 and compression bands #12 at about what they cost me if I can find them easily.

I'm talking about #13 and #15. SOR says the return matches '77-'79 and the feed matches '75-'79. My truck is a '78. I don't know what is different and no way of copying other years at this time.

SOR has the #25 and #26 brackets used for cheap money.

yep count me in for both.
make me some hard brake lines while you are at it........

I 'm interested in a set for my 77 . Will wait to see your pictures.

Another budding entrepeneur!;)

I'd like to keep a set in stock. I get calls for them every once in a while. I'll prolly send you the nuts and compression bands for mine.

Pics of the first set

The first set required some manual manipulation. Not bad though.

At the fuel-pump end of the return line I didn't follow the stock routing, choosing instead to go over the fuel pump. I don't have that bracket. If you want the exact factory routing, I'll get one from SOR, or you could send me your bracket when I make them and I'll send it back.

The nut unions are the same as those on the smog rail and the fuel pump. If anyone has a rusted out rail, I'd be interested in getting my hands on it. They are not available anywhere else that I checked, and don't appear on any other Toyotas that I saw.

What about some hard fuel lines that run out of the tank for a '79 40? I can provide the originals for a template. Thanks!

I have three extra sets

These things are a PITA to make. Each set will have to be manhandled some to get it to fit perfectly. I kept the best set and it still took me an hour to put them in.

The three sets are each a bit different. The two on the right are $50 per set plus shipping. I'll probably have to buy boxes.

The first two sets come with the top bracket if you need one.

The shinier ones have the return line going down in front of the feed line instead of behind the pump like stock. They'll need some work to clear the air cleaner too. This is the set shown in the earlier photos. $45

I've got one extra set of nut unions; $15. You can get the 5/16" compression fittings at your local auto parts. The nut unions are the same as those on the later model air rails. If you find a rusty or bent one, you're set. They also have them at SOR for $6 ea or so. They are not the same as anything you'll find locally.

I've got three 40" straight sections and a bender if someone wants to make their own, $25 locally, no shipping.

I've also got an old set of lines from a '73 that could be used as a pattern. Free with bender and lines above.

I need a set with as little man-handling as possible. I'll prolly get the nut unions too. Shipping to 75204?

Maybe I can finally install my stock air cleaner...

I AM IN ON THIS ALSO, AND THE CARB FUEL LINES

Eddy,

What kind of stock are you using and where do you get it? I need to make a new set of hard lines from my tank up to the filter.

It's 5/16 brakeline from Napa (or wherever). It comes in various lengths with flares on the ends and two fittings. I just cut off the ends and toss the fittings into the bolt bucket. $4 for 40" lines at the local unaffiliated auto parts. Those are the less shiny ones. The extra shiny ones are about $5 at Napa.
