72 Tool Box- How do you open it? (1 Viewer)

Ive got a 72 thats got the underseat storage box. For the life of me, I cant figure out how to open it. Does the seat move back?

No, the seat tilts backwards after undoing the two latches on the front of the tool box.

So those 2 little toolbox latches are the only things that keep the seat from tilting backwards? Eeeesh.

Yep, look behind the seat on the floor and you will see the 'pivot point hinges' that bolt to the floor. If you pull the pins you can remove the seat completley allowing you have a comfortable seat for camping...
