72 FJ40 Jump Seat Question

I just finished installing a roll bar to work w/ my long rear seats ('72 style). I had the roll bar made longer to accomodate the longer seats, so far it all fits just fine;). I didn't like the look of the inset seats, didn't leave much leg room IMOP. Also when i cut the armrest off the seat (req'd) i cut it down a bit and welded to the C-pillar of the roll bar. I like the look of the armrest and wanted to keep them, also makes a good tie down point for cargo straps, etc.
Two pics pre-paint.
I still haven't attached the rear of the seats to the top of the rail as I too don't have any holes... Wondering if the PO filled them in?

72 and 73 are different than earlier jump seats. The bottom part of the seat is angle on the front side. These don't look angled. Also these look to have two holes at each mounting point. The 72 only uses one. Probably 68 or older. If they don't have the small bracket to bolt to the top of the tub there are even older. They will work but are not correct for a 72

X2 on the seats. Below is a pic. of the frame for my 64. It is square not angled on the front. I filled the holes in the tub for the back brackets not knowing what they were for:doh:. I would think a large diameter self tapping sheet metal screw would be appropriate.

If your interested in the original seats I have 2 sets of frames for your year (angled front side).
