I think he is dreaming. It is worth about $425 as scrap, and it will cost $75 to get it to the crap yard. Tell him to put a battery in it and drive it over to your place and you will give him $550 for it...

He is on a power trip. He knows he will not do anything with this thing, but yet he would rather see you squirm as it rots before letting you use it to put your baby together, at a fair price, even. I know the type. They are not very negotiable and care nothing about helping someone out in preserving history. But, you know what? Last I heard its a free country and his property. Spend your time working with people who understand your situation and are willing to help. My $.02

I replied similar sentiments yesterday to the affect "if you can get it running, I'll give you $500".
He replied "if i get it running i'm going to keep it. i appreciate your time
if you decide you want it just let me know."
To which I responded with my email address and phone number, only. ( all communication has been through CL even though the ad was deleted)

Considering I've not seen anything beyond what's previously depicted, I can't state a condition of the "parts", but does the inclusion change anyone's perspective on this for the $500?
Delancy, Guy might be a Jerk. But not for nothing the hood, front fenders, rear quarters dont look too bad from the pics. Worth more than 5 alone. If he is going to throw in the rest of the s*** and you are going to cut-out what you need. I dont think you would have a problem getting rid of the rest. Even if you sit on it for a while. MY .02

Going to wind up with the front fenders off of this one and mine, so should be plenty of pork to carve.

Once it's landed, will start taking good pics and itemizing/allocating.
It'll be a good learning experience tearing into one....practice for reassembling mine. Haha.
