Do you know if this windshield is bigger? would it fit in an non "air bag" truck? thank

They can be made to fit.
I've seen a rolled over 79 air bag dash ute have the roof cut off half way up the pillars and a early 79 roof and half way down pillars put back on and the inner window frame where the old style rubber seal sits over stuck out a bit more than the lower half of the pillars. But it got a new style glass and seal installed.

damn, john, are you that stubborn or too cheap (or maybe you just can't take advice) to call ENS and get the info you need?

(this is reminiscent of the LJ days)

Being rude isn't helpful. WTF are "LJ days" ?

I called ENS, and they claim to know nothing about BJ-73 or BJ-74 windshields.

What other models use the same windshield?

Folks, no need to get testy. This is really just simple part supersessions.

56111-90K00 and 56111-90K02 have both superseded to 56111-60220 which is a good and live part number in the TMS USA system and should be good for the rest of the world markets as well.

56111-90K00 was applicable for all BJ70 from 11/1984-EOP. It was also a good part number for all 7x vehicles from about 1990-1996 in most applications.

56111-90K02 was applicable from 1990-till about 1999 in a lot of 7x applications as well.

The current part number is what you want. It replaces all previous part number and will work on the 7x back to 1984.

Now we can rest this issue.

:)

as i said, ALL fold down 7* windshields are the same.
ask for 75 series part number (above in post) and you will get it from ENS.

rude yes, i posted up the part numbers. all three are for fold down windscreens.

I ended up going to the Toyota dealership and they got one for me freight free to Minnesota for about $500

your local parts dealer is a drone.
when someone says "all fold down windshields" are the same and you know the 75 is a fold down, how hard is that to understand?

you call ENS, you talk to Mark in industrial. you tell Mark "i need a windshield for a fold down 7* series". Mark will pull the number and give you price and availability. very simple, a child could do it. 5 mins tops.

56111- is windshield glass

The 60220 window is FIXED TOP

60230 is FOLD DOWN

2010+
56111-60A80 is a glue in w/o vin
56111-60A90 is a glue in w vin

They are well above $450 USD at dealer at the cheapest

the simplest answer is the best- stop arguing and just give the facts.

Correct. All part numbers are live and available through TMS USA (and ostensibly Canada as well).

OK, as Clint79 says, there is another type of windshield for the fixed frame. Now we got these number from rick_d for 2010+
56111-60A80 is a glue in w/o vin
56111-60A90 is a glue in w vin

my little story...live in Cananda and have a Europe truck, since the VIN is not recognise here, no one could confirm that 56111-60220 would fit!!! so i order the glass and i was on my own. I could't affort to break it and buy another one so i did not take any chance and i glue the glass on the frame just like if it was a corrola!. ( but the glass is a little short for this purpose)
Since Clint79 confirm that the "airbag type windshield" is bigger and would probably fit on a "non-air bag" frame...Does someone knows if the 56111-60A80 or 90 are made to be glue dirrectly on the frame like any "modern car".

Just to know other possiblity, maybe essier to maintain water outside?
What mean 80 w/o vin and 90 w vin?
Thank you
Justin

Thanks to ALL the info given. I have a couple of leads and will contact BENO asap to see what he can offer. Cheers

So I am going to revive this thread specifically to address windshield weatherstrip concerns.

Fixed windshield weatherstrip without chrome (plain) is 56121-60120.

Fixed windshield weatherstrip for the chrome trim is 56121-60130.

Is above info correct?

I ordered and received 56121-60130 but it doesn't appear to be the plain type.

Above this you wrote that 56121-60120 is the plain type and that you are surprised that the 56121-60130 you received does not appear to be the plain kind.
Either there's a typo or I am dense. Maybe both.

I could have worded my post better.

Just asking for further clarification in case I try to order the other p/n (What I typed is what I gathered from this thread).

When I ordered the 56121-60130, at the time I thought that was the plain one. You know how it is with Toyota and all their variations.
