I have a post in the Wheels & Tires forum that I'd love advice on for those who have restored steel wheels before.

I can't tell you how to paint/restore the wheels but I can tell you the exact paint color used on all silver Toyota steel wheels is "SV 114 Bluish Silver" from PPG Industries (at least in the US).

Thanks Beno. I have used the paint above to repair a couple of minor chips (from shipping damage) and matched perfectly on my 16" steel rims so it is probably the same color or very close to it (I just don't know if this paint is used on the Japanese made steel rims).

Due to the markings on my 16" wheels, I can confirm they are made by CMW (Chuo Seiki) in Japan and their American branch (CMWA) uses this paint for all silver steel Toyota wheels for the American market.

I have two or three of these bottles in my desk if you or anyone wants one.
