Yes. See Project PatinaWill the early acorn hub caps fit on these wheels?
Yes. See Project Patina
Edit: the city racer wheels yes and I’d assume the aluminum since the acorn caps and the “newer” caps fit on the same OE Toyota wheels
You have any more pics of this from different angles? I was going to go 33x10.5, but this looks sweet. Looks like you had to trim your rear wheel wells? My 1977 FJ-40 with 35x12.50 R15 on 7” widened OEM wheelsView attachment 2086595
10.5 wide tires fit just fne on stock solid axle pickup and fj40/55/60 wheels.
no need to make it complicated and/or expensive

Truck is mostly in its original build state from 2001…which included the rear wheel well cutting, which I don’t care for.
Had the builder followed a factory radius, I’d be much happier.
I added the 7” wide wheels…originally it had 15x8 (or maybe 15x10) wagon wheels:

It has a suspension and body lift…the body lift was added by the “second” owner, only to add to the height aesthetic he was going for. I’d guess the 35x12.50s on 7” wheels would work on a 3-4” lift without trimming rear fenders…but it’s only a gut feeling.
I’d prefer a 35x10.50R16 or R17, with a set of factory radius rear overlays for the rear wheel well openings.
Did you ever find out info on these? I'm curious for the same info.I have looked at city racers 16s but I want something wider 7 or 8 inches, so I was asking about the aluminum rims. Where can I find information on them?

16x6, $375 per wheel:it was a while ago but I believe the aluminum rims were made the FJCompany. I think what they were offering was 16”, so no good for me.
I tried to confirm this on their site but I don’t see that they have them listed anymore.
